In this interview at Camerimage 2021, Robert McLachlan shares where he started in film, from loving photography and movies to shooting documentaries and now, a renowned DoP. He talks about his experience of first using VENICE 2 and pushing its limits filming in extreme circumstances.
When we got it into the colour suite in Dolby Vision in HDR, we saw stuff in there that I never would have expected any camera to have been able to hang on to in terms of both highlight and shadow detail.
