Sony launches its ultimate 4K Professional Displays

Asia Pacific, 27 October 2016 Sony today launches the latest line-up of 4K colour LED professional displays – FWD-65BZ35D, FWD-55BZ35D, FWD-55BZ20D, FWD-49BZ20D – that offers features and rock-solid reliability that B2B users demand from the best professional products. Encompassing screen sizes from 49 to 65 inches, the latest range further demonstrates Sony’s commitment to exemplary design and innovation that fulfills both form and function.

Equipped with the award-winning TRILUMINOS™ Display technology found in Sony’s consumer imaging products, the colour palette of the displays is expanded for extra in-store impact for retail boutiques. Ultimate picture quality is possible thanks to the excellent 16:9 4K resolution (3849 X 2169 pixels). With over 8 million pixels, the 4K LCD panel offers four times the detail of Full HD. Combined with the ability to manage 4K 60P up to 18Gbps, the latest line-up produces a level of detail and realism beyond anything users have seen before. Increased depth, texture and realism are achieved with the inclusion of the new 4K X1 Processor that is twice as powerful as its predecessor. Contrast, clarity and colour are definitely enhanced to a whole new level with intelligent upscaling, noise reduction, individually enhanced colours, and optimized dynamic range of contrast frame by frame. Together with Reality Creation picture engine and compatibility with High Dynamic Range (HDR), the technology-packed line-up allows content creators to expand their creativity by immersing themselves in the stunning power of exquisite 4K picture quality.

With portrait capability for greater signage impact, Sony’s professional displays are installation-friendly with a wide range of mounting options. The slim and stylish line-up is VESA compliant and integrates colour neatly into any corporate, retail or educational environment. Option to turn the displays into an interactive touchscreen is possible thanks to Sony’s IR and capacitive technology overlays, which allow multi-touch points for greater interactions.
Versatile and advanced control is possible via IP Control for multiple functions including on/off, input signal select and volume adjust, among others.
