Sony at EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2020 with David Higgs, Łukasz Żal and Florian Hoffmeister amongst others to showcase its latest cinematography solutions

Basingstoke, UK, 12^th November 2020: Sony is pleased to announce it will return to the international film festival EnergaCAMERIMAGE in its digital version from November 14th to 21st. Sony will also present a number of workshops, seminars and panel discussions with leading filmmakers and DoPs. As a sponsor of this prestigious international event, Sony is once again showing its support to the cinema industry in these unprecedented times.

A virtual booth on the festival website will allow digital visitors to discover or rediscover  the VENICE camera and in particular its features which enhance remote production capabilities, as well as the other CineAlta products and latest insight and updates. VENICE will also be seeing new features added at the end of this year.

Sony will also be hosting 2 online seminars:

• November 17th, 7pm CET: Shining a light on Season 2 of BBC’s His Dark Materials, with David Higgs, BSC and post production team
• November 18th, 6pm CET: Creating a Unique Look for Your Film from Capture through Post with Tom Poole, Chief Creative Officer of Company 3, and cinematographers Łukasz Żal, Florian Hoffmeister, Chris Teague.

A number of films being shown in EnergaCAMERIMAGE’s main competition were shot on VENICE – including the festival’s closing movie Minamata, directed by Andrew Levitas with cinematography by Benoit Delhomme , as well as The Glorias, Helene and Rifkin’s Festival.
