Sony IP Live Production Solutions
It’s a challenge faced by many broadcast and video production professionals. Just how do you create an efficient live and post-production platform that is flexible enough to support new technologies? Indomedia found its answer in Sony’s IP Live Production solutions.
Established in 1992, Indomedia is more than just a rental house offering cutting-edge Sony broadcast equipment and qualified broadcast crew to TV stations, event producers and filmmakers. It is also a formidable live production house supporting TV networks, concert organisers as well as sport stations around the country. One such sport station is beIN Sport Indonesia – the go-to TV channel for football fans across Indonesia.
To support beIN Sport’s expanding football coverage, Indomedia invested in the Sony XVS-6000 multi-format switcher. Deployed on a semi-permanent basis for beIN Sports, the XVS-6000 is compatible with Sony’s IP Live Production system while addressing cost and scalability issues associated with conventional SDI live production workflows.

Sony’s IP Live Production technology uses IP connectivity to provide Full- HD AV transmission without dealing with cumbersome cabling. It is ideal for a wide range of live production broadcasts from sports to concerts, education to faith-based events.
