LeasePlan is an international automotive business that offers car leasing and fleet management solutions to corporates, small companies and individuals. The main offices of LeasePlan Hellas in Athens accommodate over 130 staff working in a range of roles including customer relations and sales. Efficient use of workplace resources had posed a major challenge, with the high volume of meetings between staff and clients frequently causing room booking headaches. Diary clashes were common, with staff often rushing to ensure a suitable meeting room was available and ready.
Creating a more productive environment
Running a large customer-centric business, LeasePlan needed an office environment that empowered staff to work more productively. In particular IT Director George Mytilinaios wanted staff to feel relaxed and fully prepared for meetings. Working with Sony and installer Technologica Systems, LeasePlan embarked on creating a more productive office environment with technology at its core. Powered by Sony’s TEOS suite of workspace management solutions, the result combines room management and digital signage to streamline office traffic and reduce employee stress.
Central management of room bookings and signage
Stylish interactive tablets* outside meeting rooms allow staff to view and make bookings at the touch of a finger, using the Book application that integrates with LeasePlan’s corporate scheduling system. This cuts the risk of diary clashes and allows a more productive flow of people through the office environment. BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays within rooms offer crisp, bright images that make presentations more engaging for participants. Across the building, announcements are communicated to staff and visitors via digital signage that’s presented on futher BRAVIA Professional Displays and controlled remotely by TEOS. Meanwhile, energy management tools track device usage, helping AV and IT teams make operations more efficient.
