Sony announces next generation BRAVIA® Displays to its professional line-up

Weybridge UK, 7^th June 2022: Sony continues to expand on its versatile BRAVIA® displays line-up with the latest additions of 4K HDR, 8K HDR, OLED and QD-OLED innovative technologies available in sizes ranging 42” to 85”, for professional installations. The new models – Z9K, A95K, 90K and 80K, X80K, 81K, 85K and 95K – are packed with all the features and technology you expect from a BRAVIA making them the perfect partner for a corporate office, university campus or retail store.

The latest lineup includes:

Z9K 8K HDR – Provides an unparalleled viewing experience with exquisite 8K HDR images, easy operation and cutting-edge technology with our unique XR Backlight Master Drive, powered by Cognitive Processor XR™, to ensure vibrant high contract images. Available in sizes 75” and 85”, the Z9K delivers exceptional contrast from an 8K Mini LED screen that’s expertly controlled by our unique XR Backlight Master Drive technology to ensure vibrant high contrast images, bursting with fine detail, rich colour, and spectacular contrast.

A95K QD-OLED – Take advantage of the new OLED (QD-OLED) panel with XR Triluminous Max and our ingenious Cognitive Processor XR™ technology with the A95K, to ensure vibrant high-contrast 4K images. With millions of individual self-illuminating pixels, the beautifully sleek, minimalist design of the A95K, which is available 55” and 65”, delivers more colours than ever before for an entirely new viewing experience.

The Z9K and A95K models will be equipped with BRAVIA CAM, Sony’s newly developed original camera device which recognises where users are sitting and optimises the picture and sound accordingly. BRAVIA CAM also offers gesture controls, video chat and many other innovative, new experiences.

A90K 4K OLED – Complimenting style with sound, the A90K OLED 4K HDR boasts spectacular imagery with XR Triluminous Pro, paired with Acoustic Surface Audio+ for cinematic sound, available in 42’’ or 48’’.

A80K 4K OLED – Add impact to your digital signage visuals with the stunningly styled, fully featured A80K with a 55’’, 65’’ or 77’’ screen. Combining bright, beautiful OLED 4K image quality with Cognitive Processor XR™, they are an imposing addition to any corporate, education or retail environment.

X95K 4K Mini LED –The X95K unites exquisite pictures and sound with a 65”, 75” or 85” 4K HDR screen, and a premium flush design that keeps every audience focused without distractions. The Cognitive Processor XR™ takes vision and sound to a whole new level by boosting colour, contrast, clarity and motion.

X80K, X81K & X85K 4K HDR – These displays deliver richly coloured and high-contrast 4K HDR images with 4K X-Reality PRO. The X80K is available in sizes 43’’ to 65’’, the X81K available in 75’’ and the X85K in 85” – there is a display for every space and every need.

Sustainability at the heart of Sony

Sony is committed to sustainability from the development process all the way through to the viewing experience, and its “Road to Zero” global environmental plan aims to achieve a sustainable society by reaching a zero environmental footprint throughout the life cycle of its products and business activities by the year 2040. With these goals in mind, our BRAVIA Displays range uses high recycled plastic content with Sony-developed SORPLAS™. By using SORPLAS™, we’ve increased our use of recycled material without sacrificing design and durability and reduced overall virgin plastic use by up to 60% which equates to approximately 140,000,000 compact discs.
