Digital Full HD transmission up to 1800m* using standard triax cable
Equipped with the latest Sony-developed digital transmission technology, the HSCU-300 Camera Control Unit (CCU) can transmit high-resolution pictures between the camera and CCU, supporting most live production applications. The HSCU-300 features flexible interfaces of selectable inputs/outputs between HD-SDI and SD-SDI.

The HSCU-300 can connect the HSC-300 camera with the MSU-1000/1500 Master Setup Unit, which enables the HSC-300 to be used as a simple studio system or as part of a large-scale broadcasting system consisting of multiple cameras.

The HSCU-300 Camera Control Unit (CCU) offers long cable runs of up to 1800m (5906 feet) via a ø14.5 mm triax cable between the camera and the CCU.

The HSCU-300 features flexible interfaces of selectable inputs/outputs between HD-SDI and SD-SDI. Other interfaces include VBS in/out, HD/SD component video output, as well as sync out and mic and prompter inputs.
Built-in up and down converters maximise flexibility
The HSCU-300 includes a built down-converter to SD providing simultaneous HD and SD outputs and a simple up-converter to HD.
Cross-compatibility with HXC-100 cameras
The HSCU-300 also provides compatibility with the HXC-100 camera, increasing the flexibility of the system.
Control with Sony Remote Control Panel
The HSCU-300 can be controlled with RCP-700/900 Series Remote Control panels connected with CCA-5 cable or via LAN.
