Ideal camera for use in areas of limited space
The Sony DXC-C33P camera delivers stunning picture quality in a compact, lightweight design. It provides horizontal resolution at 800 TV lines with a minimum illumination of 2000 lux at F8. It incorporates a DV output terminal, which allows the camera to output images by DV format.

Small 3CCD head
The compact, lightweight design means this Sony camera can be installed in locations where space is limited. The camera head can then be controlled remotely up to 30 metres from the camera control unit. This is the smallest of the 3CCD-class cameras with head dimensions of 32 x 38 x 40.
Digital interface: DV out
Video signals can be recorded to i.LINK interface-equipped VTR without any deterioration in image quality as a result.
RS-232C control interface
All of the camera functions can be accessed and controlled using an external computer or with the optional RM-C950 remote control panel.
Frame memory capability
The built-in frame memory feature lets you freeze an image and offers a quality enhancement in image sensitivity.

DynaLatitude™ function
DynaLatitude™ is a new feature that adjusts the image contrast automatically based on brightness levels of the entire image.
HD/VD and VBS synchronisation
External triggering (vertical, horizontal and VBS) capability for synchronised flash or multi-camera operation.
10-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and C-mount lens compatible
DXC-C33P creates superior pictures by adopting full Digital Signal Processing. By optimising DSP, there is improved sharpness in the image quality.
I.LINK compatible
Users are able to transfer digital images to any i.LINK peripherals, such as desktop computers or digital video recorders.
