Overview

Just as medical image diagnostic equipment has changed in recent years - becoming smaller in size and progressing to digital technology - so too have the demands that customers place on their medical printers. In response to these changing demands, Sony introduces its new A5 digital colour printer, the UP-D55. Using Sony dye sublimation technology, the UP-D55 produces A5-size prints of sharp and high quality at fast printing speeds. In addition, it has a compact and lightweight body so that it can fit into areas of limited space. The optimum choice for many medical applications - for example in Endoscopy and Ultrasound systems - and also ideal for a wide range of scientific, industrial, and engineering uses, the UP-D55 provides you with working efficiency for high-performance printing.

Multiple Print Mode

The UP-D55 can provide images in full, or with two, four and eight images split across a single sheet.

Colour Balance Adjustment Capability

The colour balance adjustment function allows users to select the most suitable balance to match the expected colours for printed images. And, three alternative gamma curves make it possible to adjust the best tonal range for each requirement.

Print Media

The UPC-55 Color Print Pack consists of 2 ink ribbons and 2 pack (100 sheets per pack) of print media (178mmx152mm). One UPC-55 is for 200 prints.
