Using the PCI Express 3.0 advanced interface and newly developed Sony’s unique intelligent controller delivers 3x faster ingest time compared to current versions. In combination with the new SBAC-T40 reader writer, the PRO X transfers 240GB video content to computer in approximately 3.5 minutes, greatly improving workflow efficiency for professionals.

Stable 4K video capture of high bit rate
EB streaming technology enabling constant two way communication between card and Sony camcorders ensures a stable high frame rate recording, while avoiding speed degradation. Capable to record up to 45 minutes of XAVC 4K 60p (600Mbps) footage in a 240GB card with compatible Sony’s camcorders such as VENICE.

Memory Media Utility
Sony’s application software Memory Media Utility, allows to manage SxS memory cards with features such as the library function, remaining media lifetime/capacity indicator, simultaneous data back-up to three locations, and quick/full formatting.

Compatible Devices
When using SBP-120G/240G*1 with the compatible devices listed below, you will need to update the device’s system software to the version shown in parentheses or higher. For details, see the information on each device’s website.
When using SBP-120G/240G with compatible card readers, you need to install the latest version of SxS Device Driver.
When using SBP-120G/240G with SBAC-US30 or SBAC-UT100, you will need to update the device’s system software via by Memory Media Utility version 4.3.1 or later.
*Compatible Devices: PXW-X500 (V6.10), PXW-X400 (V4.10) , PXW-Z450 (V4.10), MPC-3610 (V2.10), PMW-F55/F5 (V9.20) and PXW-Z280 (V1.20).
*1 SBP-120F/SBP-240F were renamed to SBP-120G/SBP-240G due to a change in flash memory. SBP-120F/SBP-240F will be replaced by SBP-120G/SBP-240G sequentially as soon as the inventories are shipped out.
