Sony support for JPEG XS continues to expand

JPEG XS support was first introduced by Sony with Nevion Virtuoso and the NXLK-IP50Y SDI-IP board. This highly efficient codec is now being added to the HDCE-TX50 and HDCE-TX30 IP camera extension via a software license which will be available soon.

VENICE Extension System 2

Incorporating customer feedback and developed with the VENICE 2, CBK-3620XS offers a wider bandwidth to support the VENICE 2’s 8K sensor, over twice as much cable distance (up to 12m) without a repeater box, additional assignable buttons and a built-in gyro sensor. It once again expands the realms of possibility for cinematography.

The latest update of our full-frame 6K camera, adds enhanced support for C3 Portal allowing for LUT files to be imported into the camera directly from cloud – no need for SD Card. You can also choose to import or export ‘ALL file(s)’ to cloud at the click of a single button, while high resolution files can also be set to automatically upload.
