Overview
The BVML-JD10 is a JPEG XS decoder license for the Sony's TRIMASTER HX master monitor BVM-HX3110, HX1710N. JPEG XS has various advantages. Low latency and a balance of high quality and high efficiency of video data compression are especially suitable for a live production. This license allows you to feed compressed video signal data to the monitor. By applying this, the monitor can decode a video signal that is the video compression standard “JPEG XS” corresponding to the SMPTE ST2110-22 standard. Compressed transmission of video data shot by a system camera and some other devices is possible, enabling efficient use of network bandwidth. As a result, it is possible to reduce the bandwidth of the network line required for remote production, which is expected to contribute to the reduction of network line costs.

Automatic adaption to Various compression rate
A video compression rate of a Sony’s IP Live production camera system is selectable from a few setting values of it or can be set to a certain compression rate. The BVM-HX3110, HX1710N with this license can automatically and correctly decode the compression data.
Convenient features
Compressed IP video data can be used with no compression IP video data in QuadView and Side by side functions** of the BVM-HX3110. You can compare the one with the other. You can also compare the one to an SDI signal. When you apply either BVML-H10, BVML-S10 or BVML-T10***, you can output the JPEG XS decoded signal as an SDI signal from the Enhanced monitor output.
