Sony’s Camera Remote Toolkit allows you to access and control Sony cameras remotely. There are two options within the toolkit.
Camera Remote SDK
You can control Sony cameras using high-level API functions provided by Sony. Choose this option if you want deep control and integration with exclusively Sony cameras.
Camera Remote Command
Alternatively, you can use industry-standard Camera Remote Command to control Sony cameras without any dependencies on operating environment or operating systems. Choose this option if you want to work in a mixed-manufacturer camera environment, or if you need to port existing applications to an environment that includes Sony cameras.
