Television network TF1 chose Sony’s BVM, LMD and PVM-X series monitors to make sure its new and entertainment content was consistent across every stage of production. Now, the French media company’s editing, quality control, traffic and broadcast teams see exactly the same HDR images all though their production chain workflow from ingest to transmission.

HDR quality control on a growing scale
As the largest television network in France, TF1 reaches millions of viewers with original programming and TV shows syndicated from around the world. Now, quality controllers can carefully assess SDR-HDR conversion, thanks to bright, sharp displays with accurate colours that perfectly match across all displays. The traffic team use 30 Sony LMD-A240 HDR monitors to sync audio and video at speed, helping them deliver the highest quality images possible, at the fast pace demanded by news and broadcasting.
