Start with less investment, upgrade in future

The HDC-3200 has flexible upgradability. You can start with less investment for HD shooting and can upgrade to 4K (2000TVL) as future-proof without any hardware change. Also, adding the optional HDCE-TX30 IP camera extension adaptor allows the HDC-3200 to output ST 2110 signals directly without requiring a separate CCU (camera control unit), simplifying connection to an IP-based remote production system.

Sensitive 2/3‑inch 4K CMOS imager with global shutter

The high-performance 2/3‑inch 4K CMOS image sensor at the heart of the HDC-3200 achieves extremely high sensitivity with an impressive signal-to-noise ratio. Sony’s class-leading Global Shutter Technology eliminates the ‘jello effect’ and banding noise, allowing the HDC-3200 to capture stable, precise 4K (UHD) images even with fast-moving subjects. Whether you’re shooting in news studios with LED walls or live entertainment venues, viewers will appreciate premium pictures with exquisite 4K detail and high dynamic range, with support for the ITU-R BT.2020 wide color space.

Quick conversion from handheld to large lens operation

Compatibility with Sony’s new HDLA-3505 and HDLA-3501 large lens adaptors gives even more flexibility in live production environments. Unlike traditional ‘build-up’ kits, the adaptor allows fast one-touch mounting of the camera head without the need for time-consuming wiring and adjustments. As a further time-saving feature, the HDC-3200 can be undocked from the adaptor without needing to remove the lens.
