Advanced CC Option for Professional Media Station
The XDBK-103 option enables the XDS-1000, XDS-PD1000, and XDS-PD2000 to perform EIA-608 and EIA-708 closed caption conversion when upconverting/downconverting video signals during record or playback .
Highlights
• When playing back SD files with CEA-608 line-21 captions, the up-converted HD-SDI signal will have translated CEA-708 captions.
• When playing back HD files with CEA-708 VANC with 608 legacy data, the down converted SD output have CEA-608 line-21 captions.
• CEA-708 VANC captions are preserved during 1080i to 720p and 720p to 1080i cross-conversion playback.
• When playing back HD files with CEA-708 VANC with 608 legacy data, the down converted SD output have CEA-608 line-21 captions.
• CEA-708 VANC captions are preserved during 1080i to 720p and 720p to 1080i cross-conversion playback.
